Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To educate myself more about climate change and take more vacations.
ABOUT ME
In august 2015 I'm going on an artist residency in Northern Norway on an island near Bodø. After the residency has ended, I'm attending a seminar in Bergen and have a week to travel from Bodø to Bergen by train or hitch hiking, and would like to couch surf my way down. Especially during my stay in Bergen.
I'm a visual artist, queer feminist, vegan, asthanga yoga practitioner. I live in Copenhagen and I think I'm pretty kind and easy to be around and I love to share and exchange thoughts.
I have been couch surfing quite a lot, primarily through USA and Germany, and have had really nice experiences so far. All of my stays have been super interesting, thought-provoking and almost all of them very kind and touching experiences (and, to be honest, a few times a little exhausting - but never unpleasant).
I love to live with others, the exchanges that take place, sharing talks, ideas and experiences. I do, however, not expect to be entertained or shown around unless we decide to do so together - and I have no problem staying with people who do not want to socialize a lot.
For me, couch surfing is a wonderful way of meeting people, but it is also, and very importantly, an anti-capitalist, political project with a little bit of utopian potential, which I like to see myself a part of - as host and surfer - and which allows those of us on limited budgets, who wants to share, to travel and meet.
We do not need to be alike, but I need hosts and surfers to be queer friendly.
Oh, I don't smoke.
On my previous travels I shared c-s profile with Ester and you can find references about me on her profile if you scroll down a bit here: https://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=4KEOJ6P&from_search&search_ranking_names=1.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't be afraid of discomfort.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking for a place to stay during my stay in Norway.
Unfortunately my living situation in Copenhagen has been very unstable for a long time, which has made it impossible for me to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very very good right there in the mix.
Interests
Among other things: Art (my own practice takes up a lot of my time - at the moment I'm working on a drawing/text/animation work dealing with imaginations of the future in a time of climate change), my daily asthange yoga practice, political activism - especially climate activism and activism queer feminist work critique, conversations, queer imaginaries, everyday life, books, dancing, vegan food and a quick jump in sea all time of the year.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading fictional books within feminist, lesbian genres as well as sifi, graphic novels, and much much more. Right now I have following titles on my bed-shelf: Queer Ecologies by Motimer-Sandilands, Grabbing Back (essays), Artwash by Mel Ewans, Juliana Spahr's Transformation and The connection of Everything with Lungs.
Films: Right now I primarily watch catastrophe films, future films and sci-fi because I am trying to figure out how come the narrative in those films are so closely related to narratives on climate change.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Don't like to emphasize one over others... (however I did just return from an amazing collectively organized sound school, which I loved)
Teach, Learn, Share
Lived experiences... And I would love to be educated more on environmental issues (I can exchange knowledge about queer and gender studies as well as fine art I guess)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversations and then I love to cook and share food.
