Hey everyone,
I'm Mona and in decembre 2016 I'd like to travel around the world. My first stop will be Melbourne (Australia) and I can't wait to finally realize that dream!!

Two years ago I began to work in a greek restaurant to save money for my journey. At the moment I'm a pupil and I don't have much freetime because my final exams come closer and closer and I'm actually getting nervous..
Nevertheless I take time to organise my trip and therefore I created this account here to meet new people all over the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I already mentioned that travelling is my passion and it really inspires me. I love to make friends all over the world and to stay in contact with them. It's a great oportunity to realise my dream of a little world tour and to learn about different cultures and lifestyles. I hope to collect unique experiences and to become more independent. I just love to discover new places, especially beaches, restaurants but also activities such as bungee jumping, skydiving or surfing and so on.

Interests

Get to know new people, make friends, learn about the culture, different food and different places, discover the nature - beaches (interests for my journey).
@home:
In my freetime I work as a volunteer in an arrangement for disabled people (especially kids). I really enjoy doing social things and this interest will influence my job later. I want to become a nurse for children or study social pedagogy.
I love food but I'm a vegetarian and I try to eat healthy stuff, I love to try new recipes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love festivals and last summer I had the great chance to visit two big Festivals in Germany (splash and southside). So I really enjoy different styles of music like black, RnB, Hip Hop or charts. But I have to admit that my favourite band is still the Skript and Coldplay ;)
I actually like horror movies, but I also enjoy comedy or love stories. My favourite movie is called my sister's keeper and I think it's just great! The best part - also the sadest is the end, it's completely different to the book. My favourite actor is Cameron Diaz and she play's one of the protagonists in the movie.
Of course I'm a harry potter fan and I read all these books.
