ABOUT ME

My name is Laura, I love living in California and love traveling to see the world just as much! I am a Ballroom and Latin dancer and I also teach Ballroom and Latin dancing! I love having fun smiling, laughing, being with friends, being by the water and under the sun! Finding adventures is my specialty and I tend to attract excitement. I love to travel and go exploring! I have a love of culture and languages. I like to talk and share stories and take moments to appreciate the beautiful things in life; and yes it is the little things in life that bring me the most joy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I hope to be able to make great connections with people from all over the world! I would love to travel more once given the opportunity and time to do so, but I also want to welcome others to learn about a different part of the world and experience a different type of people and community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always been a traveler, and often times visited friends and family abroad. I love meeting new people and enjoy learning and experiencing new cultures. I like to be a tour guide to all those who come to visit me and always welcome the opportunity to show other people my take on the beauty California and its people have to offer. I love living here and know that every person's experience is different so I welcome all of those who wish to see my California or want to experience the fun attractions CA has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music in all different languages!! Im not a big fan of country but I do listen to it if i can swing dance to it :) My take on music is you listen to whatever moves you! Movies, I am a huge huge fan of!!! I like all kinds but comedies and action movies tend to be my favorites but inspirational ones also get a high spot. I usually watch whatever interests me! Books I am also a fan of, I like reading mystery novels but my taste in books is wide ranging so again whatever catches my attention! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is full of amazing events, people, and uniqueness. So I have many amazing things that I have done and seen, but amazing is all found in the eyes of the beholder. I have many stories and I'll be glad to share! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new languages!! I currently speak 4 and cant wait to learn many more!! I like learning about all types of things and I have many passions. I am a lover of art and the Mona Lisa will always hold a special place with me. Im always here to give advice or answer questions and if I dont know I'll be glad to find an answer!
