ABOUT ME

I am a Dutch girl living in the swiss mountains.I love seeing new things,
meeting new people,and hearing new stories.I've sort of settled down for now and I miss the backpacking atmosphere..
I think I am easygoing,and always in for a laugh..
Talking about the big things in life,money,politics,oil,enviroment,
religions stuff like that I like a lot.

If you enjoy nature,mountains and great views my couch might be a good place for you to crash on:-)
You're very welcome to bring your dog(s),we'll get them tired up here in the alps

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my own traveling I've learned that there is no better way to get to know the place you're at,then to hangout with the locals.They'll tell you about stuff and give you info about things you will never find in any travelers guide,not even the lonely planet:-)
It's always hard finding a cheap AND nice place to stay,and since I don't want money to be a reason for people not to discover their planet, I want to help others by offering them my couch..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard of couchsurfing.org on the 26th of april,I signed up for it the day after.Lots of fun meeting new people!

I'm a sucker for animation movies,or any other non violent movie
(I have difficulties understanding the entertainment of bloodshed on television)
I enjoy all music,aslong as it's GOOD music,wether it's rock,jazz,punk
classic or whatever.Jack Johnson,U2,Jamiroquai,Morcheeba,Bedouin Soundclash,Erykah Badu,Sublime,Room11,and so on..
I prefer books that make me laugh,Rule number 1,by Rupert Morgen
is fantastic,other then that National Geografics are great to read aswell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking throughout New Zealand for almost 2 years was a pretty amazing thing,also climbing mount Ngauruhoe,seeing the Arenal vulcano
spitting out it's lava,whale watching,snorkling in the seychelles,and then there was this unidentified flying object racing through the sky above us,
I still don't know what that was all about(yes,I was sober!!)
