I moved to London from Italy. My hometown is Trieste, which is really close to the border with Slovenia and 2 hours away from Venice.

I have no brothers or sisters but have good, really good friends who I consider as they were family. In fact, I call their children my nieces and nephews!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new friends in London. At the moment I cannot have guests in my house (shared flat, my room is pretty small), but maybe I will in the future!

Interests

I like walking, trekking and cycling.

I have been a scout for something like 25 years and I had to quit because I left Italy, but I still consider myself a real scout! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I consider The Beatles, Queen, Stereophonics and Pearl Jam my favourite bands, but reality is that I like many other bands and singers and I like also classical music very much.

Movies: my Movie (yes, with a capital M) is SLIDING DOORS, but I like fantasy films like The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, movies taken from Jane Austen's novels and Shakespeare's plays and thrillers. Oh, I grew up watching the original Star Wars trilogy, so I can say I'm a big fan of that world, too!
I am quite fond of tv series at the moment, such as Sherlock, How to get away with murder, The Big Bang Theory and the mother of sit-coms Friends.

Books: thrillers are on top, but I also like classics like Jane Austen, Italian authors and some children authors, for example Roald Dahl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
