Overview
About Me
I’ve been travelling/working/volunteering in Europe since May 2023 and am not living anywhere permanently. I have just been taking things as they come and taking opportunities as they arise. It’s a great lifestyle for me and I feel I am gaining some valuable experiences and connecting with so many wonderful people by doing so.
I’m always down to eat & drink and also love going for a boogie. I’m a pretty social person and enjoy being around people.
I do also enjoy alone/quiet time though and you’ll often catch me reading.
I really enjoy making people laugh and sharing stories!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s a brilliant way to be able to make connections with local people and be able to travel in a really authentic way. I guess it’s also about being able to give back
to the travel community as well by being hosted and also hosting.
Interests
Pretty passionate about sustainability and just being able to make small differences in day to day life to reduce my negative impact.
I am obsessed with walking and have been known to walk 25km-30km in a day whilst exploring a new city.
I really enjoy markets regardless of the type: food, clothes, craft etc.
Also a pretty keen theatre goer when I have the time (and the money).

Music, Movies, and Books
I really struggle to talk about a genre of music, movies or books that I enjoy it tends to range a whole lot. I’m a big fan of Aussie music though and would be very keen to share that. I love exchanging music with people!
I’m a massive fan of Keaton Henson, King Gizz, Jungle, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Parcels. I’m a big sucker for live, local music too. Something about how excited small time performers get about performing in front of people is incredible and are by far some of the best music experiences I’ve had.
I don’t get much time to watch movies but am always open to recommendations. I do always thoroughly enjoy a thriller and don’t mind a Wes Anderson film either.
In terms of books I always find myself coming back to Murakami and Helen Garner. I’m also always open to recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Me and a couple of friends organised a music festival in Victoria, Australia. It attracted the most wonderful bunch of human beings and it will forever be something I’m super proud of. I still can’t believe it came to fruition!
I also did the Camino de Santiago with 2 close friends in September of 2024, was such an incredible and spiritual experience. Can’t wait to do another route
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a bunch of random facts that I’ve picked up over time. Surprisingly it’s probably the main thing I got out of studying a year of Pharmacy and these will definitely start flowing after a couple of beers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m more than happy to help out in any way that I can.
I really love to cook vegetarian food so would be delighted to share that with you! (Thinking about things to cook actually takes up so much of my brain space)
