About Me

Hello!
I am Monica Kim from South Korea.

I was a normal student who were stuck in report, experiment (My major is engineering, but please don`t think that I am boring engineer nerd!), and busy life.
One day, I read a journal which was about the adventurous traveling life. After that, I kept thinking about what and how it is like to travel out of my country.  So I made a big decision. Stop everything I have done in Korea and travel one year. I packed my big backpack and went ahead.

Since the beginning of this year (2016), I have been traveling around the world.
I have been in South East Asia, India, Nepal, and Afican continent.

While I travel, I went Annapruna trekking, took a 36 hours bus, and taught children in orphan school. And I came to realize that there is something happening around the world more than what I have expected and heard before. From that, I also changed a lot.

Now I am in Europe. My mission here is not just sightseeing. I think traveling is more than just visiting touristic place. The essential thing is submerse oneself in the culture I encounter. To do that, I am trying to meet locals and see the real life.
