About Me

Hello! I’m a half-Japanese, half-Italian traveler who was born in Japan and grew up in Auroville, an international community in South India. Auroville is home to people from over 60 countries, and it has shaped my worldview in profound ways.

Currently, I’m studying Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and my aim is to become an NVC trainer. I have started on the path to certification, which takes an average of 5 years. I also work with YouthLink, an organization focused on empowering and educating young people, which aligns with my passion for fostering positive change in the world. I am already conducting a NVC book reading circle in Auroville, because I am very passionate to spread this awareness in the world.

I would describe myself as an artistic, philosophical, and nature-loving person. Deep, spiritual conversations are something I cherish, and I’m particularly drawn to environmental issues. My goal is to give back to the Earth in some meaningful way, because I believe humanity tends to take more than it gives, and I’d like to help reverse that trend.

I’m also an adventurous spirit. Trekking through the mountains, especially in the Himalayas, is one of my greatest joys, as well as going on walks in the forest. When I’m not exploring, I love reading, practicing karate, cooking, gardening, and caring for animals.

Some of my favorite places on earth include the serene heights of the Himalayas, the lush landscapes of Kerala, the ancient beauty of Kyoto, the history-filled streets of Rome and Sicily, and, of course, Auroville – my home.

Looking forward to meeting like-minded souls and sharing experiences with fellow travelers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 14 years old, to see if I was fit for trekking, I took it as a challenge to walk 70 kilometers in a single go. I walked day and night for 16 hours straight from Auroville to Gingee. From that time I got the confirmation that the mind is a lot stronger than the body. So even when your body is exhausted and aching, if your mind is determined, your body will keep on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very curious person, so I am always eager to learn new things from various fields.
I can teach:
-Nonviolent Communication (I am on my path to certification, so I am still learning, but happy to start teaching)
-Languages: English, Italian, Japanese, and some French.
-Nunchucks and Karate

I'd like to learn:
-Spanish!
-About the local ecosystems, including wildlife and plants
-If you have any skills you can teach me, I would be very happy to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

-Nunchuck class! I can teach you some moves to fight and perform with nunchucks (on fire)
-I love cooking, and would be happy to prarare you a meal. Pasta with tomato sauce is my go-to.
-A cultural exchange, and teach you any of the languages I speak
