I am a 22 year old travel enthusiast from India. I love exploring new cities, cultures and cuisines. I also love cooking and making fusion dishes. Being a design graduate I like making illustrations and photography. My dream is to travel to more than 50 countries by the time I am 25 and I like maintaining a travel diary and sketchbook. Also, I love postcards. I prefer mountains and valleys and being in sync with nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Planning to visit a few countries in Europe this October and would love to meet new people there. Couchsurfing I feel is the best way to know the locals and understand their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to classic rock. Favourite bands would be Porcupine tree, tool, the beatles, pink floyd. Lazarus by porcupine tree is my all time favourite song. Also, currently I am developing an interest towards post rock and country music.

All time favourite movies would be Interstellar, Perks of being a wallflower and a beautiful mind.
I am an avid reader and my favourite books are the harry potter series, atlas shrugged, Norwegian wood by Murakami, the Monk who sold his Ferrari and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to some very remote villages in India, lived with the locals, cooked food with them, milked cows, made baskets and harvested crops. Througout I have sketched interacted and clicked photographs. It was indeed a humbling experience.
