Born and raised in beautiful south Florida. I'm currently in school for education and work as a server/bartender. Teddy is a freelance writer and tattoo artist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My boyfriend Teddy, our dog Barker, and I are traveling the U.S. in our SUV, pitching our tent to camp out or chill out in the car that we made livable wherever we damn well please. We quit our jobs, I took a break from school, and made the decision to hit the road! It was time for us to take a much needed break from the rat race here in the city and make a big lifestyle change. We needed to get out to enjoy nature, get some inspiration for our writing, have some new adventures, and meet some awesome new people and hopefully some forever friends along the way.
We're on a very tight budget so we're really trying to avoid hotels and airbnbs as much as possible. We have some family and friends we're crashing with along the way but I can only camp and sleep in a small car for so many days straight in the middle of summer; I know you feel me. We're very grateful that the internet has given us the opportunity to connect with people we probably wouldn't have met otherwise. To anyone who is willing to let us crash at their pad, we are very respectful and we sincerely appreciate it. We promise you won't regret welcoming us into your home.
Music, Movies, and Books
"And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
What I Can Share with Hosts
As writers and Teddy a stand up comedian, we'll be sure to keep a smile on your face. We love connecting with new people and learning about the local cultures. We're really nonchalant and down to earth. We're hard workers and if you have a tattoo in mind or need a touch up, Teddy has all his equipment on hand. We can cook (kind of) and help you out with whatever you need (please, don't hesitate to ask). Also, being kind of a clean freak makes me leave a place in better shape than how I found it.
