About Me

ABOUT ME

I love to read which kind of goes with being a literature major. Anything from Borges, Baudelaire, Wilde, Dostoyevky to William Blake is right up my alley! I like to have a good time, which generally means hanging out with old friends or making new friends. I like going to shows around boston and my hometown. just saw Metric a few months back--- SO AMAZING! and I like to test myself, hence the recent skydiving :) I love the french word for idler/stoller/there is no adequate english translation, flâneur, and think it applies to myself. I want to travel a lot, especially now since i am spending my semester in paris, and want to get to know some people from all over!

PHILOSOPHY

personal philosophy? this is tough. i try to do things that make me happy and stay away from those that don't. pretty general rule, but it works! i tend to get stressed out with work a lot, but always make up for it and find ways to unwind--movies, a nice meal with friends, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

kind of strange but my favorite movie of all time is ANNE of green Gables! I have probably seen it around 50 times or more. I also really like black comedies (recently saw Withnail and I!). I love french cinema (Truffaut, Godard, but also Amélie and recent stuff).I go crazy for a good click flick, and stay away from violent movies...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skydiving! exhilarating!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope I have something to offer others.. I was raised in the US by my Polish parents, which is why I learned Polish as my first language. definitely interesting to grow up with an immigrant mom!
