Whenever I am not in the classroom teaching the minds of the future, I make time to travel. I like seeing things for my own two eyes and just being present. The world can be very beautiful.

Currently, I will be backpacking around Europe this Summer with my two best friends, Kim (or as I like to call her "Kimmy," - don't ask why I extended her name instead of making it shorter) and Brad.

To give you a little background information about us, (& yes this is the about ME section but we come as a package so I think this would help get to know me) I have been best friends with Kim since 7th grade. Its insane to know we have been through so many stages of life together and are still super close. She was the person who lit the fire inside of me to love to travel and want to be open to the world. We have travelled to Chicago, NYC, Destin, Austin, San Francisco, and Seattle together. Feel free to ask anything about those places because we'd be more than happy to tell you about it. She's also pretty amazing and one of the coolest chicks you will ever know. A key thing to note down is to not take her too seriously, shes kidding 99% of the time, yet you would never know that because shes so good at it. Haha.

Enough about The Adventures of Kim and Monica, let me introduce Bradley into the mix. Brad and I are big math nerds. We met at the university and bonded over math equations. Haha! We probably bonded over beer more but lets just stick to that story. He's incredibly smart and is such a chill guy. He gives probably the best rendition of the song "End of the Road," by Boys II Men.

Together, all 3 of us are very diverse. I can't wait to experience this once in a lifetime adventure with them. It will be one for the books.

I am not biased when it comes to Music. I am open to everything. Some of my current favorites are: Luke Bryan, Odesza, Banks, Broods, Taylor Swift, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, The Weeknd, Sam Smith, Tove Lo, Wet ...

I watch so many movies it is insane. If you haven't watched Gone Girl, you have to do that right now. I also enjoy scary movies even though they're usually lame.

To go along with movies, one of my favorite books is Gone Girl. It starts off a little slow but then you become invested in the characters.

Can you guys tell that Gone Girl just came on HBO before I wrote this?! Haha

Skydiving has to be hands down one of the coolest things I've ever done. There's nothing like the feeling of flying through clouds.
