ABOUT ME

My name is monica. I'm 46 years old. I was born in Colombia and I my husband is french. We have two children. Elias(8 years old) and Abel(5 years old). We have lived in France, USA(Washington DC) and Lebanon(Beirut). We're open-minded and we like different cultures. Our children speak spanish with me and french with their father and now we want them to pick up their english. While in Lebanon, Elias learned arabic. We live in Paris now. The children have a great capacity of adaptation.
I'm a spanish teacher, my husband works with the environment, and the children are calm, respectful and love meeting children from different cultures. They love sports (soccer), books(harry potter at the moment). We're Christian but we respect all religions and we're very tolerant.

I love learning languages: I speak spanish, french, english, and I tried very hard with the arabic but a longer stay in Lebanon would've been necessary to master the language.
I love running. I have run 11 marathons (the last one in Beirut, 2 years ago). I love traveling. While in Lebanon we could discover visit part of the middle-east. We loved Egypt!!! Very interesting! I like music, I love Opera, I like the sad moments of La boheme de Puccini.
In books, I Like Garcia Marquez, 'El amor en tiempos del colera. Anyway, I like people from abroad!
I'm studying socio-linguistics to understand better the languages and their origins and cultures.
I love the work from the palestinian artist Abdel Rahman Katanani.
