About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find someone to show me around Paris!

ABOUT ME

This probably goes without saying, but I love traveling and I love meeting new people. I live in one of the most exciting cities in the world and love sharing it with others - which is one reason I am a concierge at a hotel.

When I travel, I like to visit: flea markets, dive bars, clubs with live music and DJs, cemeteries, antique/vintage shops, local favorites and tourist attractions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had people crash on my couch ever since I got my first place - 15 years ago!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on a lot of couches. I prefer sleeping on couches in houses that are clean, quiet and friendly. I would never make you sleep anywhere I wouldn't sleep! I actually fall asleep on mine quite often.

Interests

trying new things, meeting new people, travel, eating, drinking, shopping, reading, flea markets, vintage clothing, old things in general, the ocean, bookshops, playing with my dog, spending time with friends, listening to/dancing to/seeing music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: dubstep, reggae, punk rock, metal, electronic, hip-hop, pop.

Movies: I have a huge collection, I like all sorts, mostly foreign and independant. It's easier to list what I DON'T like which are: new blockbusters, remakes and rom coms.

Books: Vonnegut, Bulgakov, Murakami, Flaubert, David Sedaris, Phillip Roth, Neitzsche, Sartre

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a burlesque show where a girl came out dressed like Hello Kitty with a giant Hello Kitty head. She proceeded to strip down to her skivvies while keeping the head on. It has left an indelible impression, which may or may not be a good thing...
