I studied veterinary medicine in the Netherlands and I recently moved to Ghent in Belgium for my PhD. I love to travel, cook, Belgium beers, play badminton, enjoy life, getting to know new people and cultures.

I believe that no person is the same and I think we can all learn a lot from each other. I like the idea of opening up your home for others, to let someone else feel welcome in your city and to meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For 2 months I worked in an animal rescue centre in Indonesia. It was a great experience where you had the chance to get to know the real local culture and enjoy all the simple things there was, as it was located in the middle of nowhere.
