ABOUT ME

Since I am originally from Europe, I have traveled extensively on that continent, but would like to see even more. My husband and I love Spain, France and Italy in particular.
We love good food and stimulating conversations. By participating in Couch Surfing we would like to widen our horizon and make friends in other parts of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We like to meet interesting people from all over the globe. When you come, we would love to get a bottle of wine from your country or region to complete our wine cellar.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted one of my German college students for several weeks last year. For a number of years I supervised high school students in an overseas exchange program.
Over the last two years we have had wonderful experiences with Couchsurfing. It is so much better than staying in an anonymous hotel room. We got to meet new people and left as friends!

We like Jazz, Motown, Blues, and I enjoy listening to Neue Deutsche Welle (German 80's music).
Travel shows like Andrew Zimmern's "Bizarre Foods" are our favorites.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was inside an Egyptian pyramid and canoed in alligator infested waters in Lousiana. I held a 2 meter shark in my arms (see photos).
