About Me

I'm a 24 years old student, doing my masters and working in Edinburgh. Before, I used to study East Asian studies in Krakow where I got interested in long distance travels. Right now I'm studying tourism and hospitality management, hoping to open my own business soon. In my free time in rainy days (read: most of the days in Scotland) I love reading and watching movies (God bless Netflix). When the weather is more generous I usually spend time outside, discovering beautiful places in Edinburgh or simply chilling in the garden with friends. Besides, I love hiking, whisky tasting, barbecue, dancing and karaoke (after few drinks I forget I cannot sing).I have a soul of a traveller, constantly planning how to get out of the house and finds some new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from different parts of the world, learn about other cultures and share stories/food/drink.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Polish rap when I'm cleaning or when I got really angry, rock - especially live music, 80s and 90s when I party.

Movies:
Mostly thrillers, dramas. Three movies that I can watch non stop: About a boy, The way, Whiplash
I'm also a TV show freak so there is probably no TV series that I haven't watched or at list heard about, with Sherlock on the top of my list.

Books: Harry Potter series, crime books (especially Agatha Christie), Stephen King, Nick Hornby, Mark Haddon, all the books of Zygmunt Miloszewski (an amazing polish writer), and many, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left everything behind and moved to Edinburgh to start over.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything about your country and culture, maybe learn some basic vocabulary of your language . Basically anything you can share with me I will treat as a new experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cook something good, share stories and knowledge, teach you how to swear in Polish and how to drink like a Scottish, share tips about countries I've been to.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain
