ABOUT ME

I am a former Peace Corps Volunteer originally from Seattle, WA but now residing in Boston, MA. I'm nomadic at heart, and strongly refuse to take life too seriously or fall into the norms that society expects from me. I love politics, mountains, Toy Story, Thai food, and crossing things off my bucket list.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't live tomorrow until you finish today first. The world is full of arbitrarily defined borders, and the more I experience in life, the more I come to realize we're all nothing more than human.

Interests

In my free time I like to get out and explore the city I'm in, debate culture and politics, and get into intense games of cards or bananagrams. I'm interested in people, their stories, and their experiences. I love to snowboard, bicycle, and I will always try everything at least once (except maybe skydiving, you'd have to be VERY persuasive to get me to try that). I like to dive head first into whatever I'm doing, and keep a child-like spirit in the way I see life and interact with the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week living with a Masai community in southern Kenya, waking up early each day, and doing walking safari's through the bush with them at sunrise each day. It's an opportunity few have a chance to experience, and it forever is held near and dear to my heart.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be more than willing to make dinner for anyone hosting me, as well as trade stories about experiences around the world!
