ABOUT ME

I am an absolute travel freak. I got inoculated with traveling by my parents from the very early years of my life. Since then life with me was tough for them as I only asked for plane and bus tickets for my birthdays and Christmases  Thanks to those different occasions I have seen most of Europe, Asia, US and Australia. I’ve lived in 5 different countries and 3 different continents throughout my student life.

I see myself as a very open person. I love meeting all kinds of people with different backgrounds, skin colors, experiences, cultures and religions. I hate being judged and to judge which is why I never agree with any opinion until I have made my own.

At the moment I live and work in Warsaw, where I have a bunch of truly fantastic friends, which I wouldn’t change for anything. We try to squeeze everything possible out of the city and enjoy it as mach as we can.. even though work sometimes is blocking us.

I am a born optimist but have my feet firmly on the ground when it comes to realism. Nevertheless I am spontaneous and never think my decisions through. Until now my intuition has never failed me. I am also very romantic and I cry at every movie… even those animated 

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed couches for a very long time, although most of the times it was at my friends’ or my friends’ friends’ which I met thorough my travels. It was always a lot of fun and ended with many great stories and adventures.
This year was my first time to surf couches with CS and I it was fantastic. I got to meet really awesome people, learned many interesting things and seen wonderful places.

音乐、电影和书籍

Books: I love all kinds of travel/ cultural experiences books, mostly the diary types, not the guides. Lately I have read a book called “ American Geisha” written by a young American girl who has lived in Japan for several years. In a very funny and interesting way it shows how different can 2 cultures be, but at the same time how nice it is to learn the differences.
I am also reading a book about a girl who has travelled the Middle East on her own on a motorbike. It really inspires me to take a similar trip. The only exception is that I would like to do it throughout the Balkans.

Movies: My all time favorite movie is Shawshank redemption, Seven, 21 and Lost in Translations. For a Sunday evening I also like all kinds of the chick flicks i.e. Sex and the city

Music: It really depends on my mood. Mostly I like chill out and RnB. But there are a few bands that I can listen to no matter what: Queen, Alicia Keys and Michel Jackson
