ABOUT ME

I am tiny and mischievious. When I'm in a good mood, I juggle with words, surprising (even myself) with bright comebacks. When I'm in a bad mood, I don't talk at all, maybe mumble from time to time, I just glance at people and wait for chocolate. Sarcasm and irony are my good friends and sometimes I might sound a bit harsh - but the more mean I am, the more I like you :) Unless I don't like you, then I'm mean in a hurtful way. Pretty logical, eh? It gets easier to distinguish these two in time.
Yet I am quite shy. To overcome my shyness, I deliberately put myself in situations such as performing on the streets or acting on stage, which I love to do, so why would something as annoying as shyness stay in my way...? :)
I am terrified of deep water, that's why I did a diving course. That's why I always swim to the middle of a lake. And not to overcome this fear would be very uncomfortable while sailing, don't you think? ^^
I'm scared of needles, yet I've had a lot of piercings - in my ears, eyebrow, tongue. Don't have them anymore, my body doesn't seem to enjoy wearing them as much as I do :( I also have a tattoo.
So yeah, I don't accept to lose on things by being scared of something. Well, maybe beside spiders... The Fear I will probably never overcome, even though it disturbs me climbing.

As a traveller and a street performer, I like to experience and learn new things. The more unusual and crazy they are, the better. Except food, I wouldn't eat a bug or a squid, I'm sorry ^^'' I'm also quite a fussy eater too, I like simple food, preferably meatless.

I am a cat lover. I have this weird conviction that when I grow old, I will be this odd cat lady living in a gloomy house. I will definately have a black cat then and eat naughty children for breakfast, mwahaha :3
In a meantime, I will play with my rare guests and beat them all in Mario Kart on any console chosen. :P

I can't imagine life without music. Silence is golden, yeah... but I was never too much into shiny stones. Whether it's gentle music playing in a background, passionate music on my headphones or melodies driving our fireshows - it brings colours to my life.

For now I choose travel and fun, fire and chocolate :D I'm not going to judge whether I'm sane or insane, I'm just going to put a quote here:

PHILOSOPHY

I want to Live. I don't want to... survive or not to die ("It was not living, it was... not dying!"). I have only one life to do all I want, to pursue my dreams. And when should I do it if not now?

I live to meet new people, to see the World, to experience and explore. So then when I'm old I can look back and hoenstly say that I LIVED.

So I'm basically a freak or very easily bored.

Sailing is my passion. When I don't sail, I think about it, dream about it, plan cruises... However, to be honest, I prefer regattas - as a skipper of course. I like this pinch of adrenaline, when you have to stay with a sharp mind and not lose your head, while wind rips your sails apart xD On the other hand, as I am a proffesional skipper, cruises polish my maneuvers' skills with bigger yachts and make it possible for me to see many beautirful places - new city every day, new view every day, waves rocking you gently to sleep... Ahhh ^^

While talking about water, I also have to mention swimming. Synchronised swimming, to be more precise, as I find 'just swimming' to be a bit boring *swim, swim, wall, turn, swim, swim, wall, turn,...* I used to train synchronised swimming for 9 years. It was my true passion, unfortunately I was forced to quit (I was 16 then). But it's like riding a bike, you just don't forget it ^^ So every time I'm at a swimming pool, I must do some figures in water, it's stronger than me! So if you see legs sticking out of the water, don't think that someone's drowning - it might be me, thinking that I'm actually still good at it xD.

Lets not get out of the water yet - diving. I am a member of the International Diving Association, I have a license. I don't have much practice, but I want to gain it. I don't actually think that I've seen anything awesome underwater, but it might be due to a fact that I did my course and passed my exam in Poland, where waters are... well... I couldn't see my hand when I straightened out my arm underwater. It draws a pretty good picture of what I mean, right? And so bloody, bloody cold O___O But I still want to explore this discipline and see some amazing things that I've only seen on TV.

I love water, I love fire. Since I remember I've been playing with matches, lighters, candles, fireplaces, etc. I can't even remember how many times I've heard from my parents and grandparents: "Don't play with fire or you're going to wet your bed at night". Ha! Never did, so very early in my years I've realised that adults lie, so you basically have to check everything with your own eyes/hands/mind xD I recall a very exciting episode in my life when I was moving out from my house (I was 16) and me and my mum did a little fireplace in the backyard. I took all the toys that I didn't like and burnt them ^^ so much fun xD
Later on I was admiring the art of fire dancing. Always wanted to try it, never had a chance or time, but then I was finally introduced to it and it's amazing :D I'm still a beginner, but I plan on getting way better, you just watch me!

Not far away from fire arts - street arts. Street shows. Street theatre. It was always my dream to be a part of that kind of life, to travel and perform on the street. I'm living my dream right now. It was a very hard and important step for me, so it takes a special place in my heart. It's great to make people laugh, to make them stop in their hectic lives and bring a smile on their faces. It's amazing to make them reflective and thoughtful.
There is still much I have to learn, like juggling, diabolo, aerial tissue... the process will be long, but hey, I've got time ^^
Travelling is a crucial part of street arts. That's a perfect kind of life for me, I can explore and experience new things every day, I can discover the world and feel it myself, see it with my own eyes. Travelling by a car, motorcycle (my favourite), trains, buses. Hitch-hiking. Not to mention that during travel you can meet so many great people! And little adventures are inevitable, they create your journey, sometimes making it harder, but definately unforgettable :)

Theatre and acting. I don't only enjoy watching spectacles, I also love acting in ones. Being on a stage and changing into someone else for an hour or so - priceless. I hope that one day I will have a chance to perform in a theatre and to be called an actress. Two years on stage at acting school were some of my best years in life.

Motorcycle. I have a driving license for cars and motorcycles, I really enjoy operating each of them. However motorcycles are more exciting. Since a little kid I wanted one. Still haven't got it, but one day I will! Until now I travelled for some time on a motorcycle with my man, until it was stolen. Yeah. Cruel world, eh?

I love mountains. I'm very sentimental towards Polish mountains- Tatra, it's my favourite place in the entire world, where I can calm down and find some peace. Everything's different there- air, sun, wind, water, food. Standing on top of a mountain, having everything behind (or below) you, listening to Sleeping Knights whispering in their dreams *^^* (Polish Legends)
Unofrtunately it gets more crowded every year, so it's hard to find a true wanderer, but I can always recognise one when I see them. Going there with my Mum makes it even more special, we do it almost every year since I was 8.
I was into climbing for some time, still am, however I find it quite difficult, as I'm really afraid of spiders and you can meet a lot of them while climbing :P I still enjoy it though if someone clears a path for me first xD

Books. I love reading. I'm very much into classical literature, as well as fantasy and crime stories. I don't particularly like si-fi. I very often misplace my books or just forget and leave them somewhere, so I have a tendency of having 5 or 6 books started. It's never one that I read xD

Baking!!! I love to bake. Kitchens with ovens are my favourite ones. I love to try out new recipies and polish the ones that I already know. Muffins, cakes, cookies, om nom nom. Just no raisins in my cakes, never! Yuk.

Music... it's hard to define what kind of music I like. I used to listen to rock and grunge music when I was a teenager, as well as a bit of a metal genre. I like classical music for sure. I definately don't like hip-hop or techno :P
I basically match the music with my mood, so from Nirvana and Apocalyptica to Happysad, Lenka and Bon Jovi. Oh, and I also love music that drives me, music to dance that I feel with all my body. It varies.

I won Polish Championship and Polish Olympics in synchronised swimming twice in a row.

Together with my boyfriend we had a motorcycle trip from Poland, through Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and Portugal to Tenerife. 4500km in 8 weeks, earning our living by street art.

I was on a two weeks cruise in Croatia. Wonderful views.
