ABOUT ME

Hello! I will be a student at Antioch College starting in October. I am just getting my feet wet with back packing and traveling but am hoping to do a lot of it in the coming years. So far my travels have taken me to the pubs and sheep farms of Ireland, the mountains and rainforests of Panama, the white waters of the Chiriqui river, to Toronto, New Orleans, Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and more... but I am not close to done seeing the world!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Unitarian Universalist and a pantheist.
I affirm and promote the following UU principles:

The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

As a pantheist I view God not as a higher power but the interconnected spirit of all life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently fairly transient with living and can't offer a couch-- but, would be happy to show travelers around Toledo or Yellow Springs, Ohio (the two towns I move between).
