ABOUT ME
I teach on a one to one basis, all the Microsoft Office applications (2003, 2007) in Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Powerpoint, email, Internet, Outlook, Outlook express, Windows XP, Vista & basic computer maintainence, plus several other various software packages. I also teach an office administration,and receptionist course. I get people from all walks of life and ages attending my classes from children of 5 years old to to 85 year olds.. I work 6 days a week but love my work. (Self employed)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to be helpful and offer couchsurfers maps, bus and train timetables, or any other brochures that may have events and places to see detailed. I will also suggest places to go and things to see and do if that information is requested.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had a several couchsurfers stay with me to date, all have been positive experiences. I just love having guests from all over the world, it makes life that little bit more interesting, and i am learning a lot about their cultures, history, food and all sorts of things. It certainly broadens ones horizons.
Interests
My interests are mixed and diverse, they are Travel (of course,) Dancing, all aspects of Fashion and many top designers, I am an avid high heeled shoe collector,currently own over 300 pairs, and collect miniature Shoes, shoe books (I even have a high heeled shoe chair.)Ten Pin Bowling, Golf, Cars(vintage, veteran and classics), Planes, trains, Reading, Music, (Jazz especially)Computers, Software, and mobile phone technology, Photography, Poetry, Walking (Beach and Bush), Dining out, wines and wine trails worldwide. I also do some writing. I had 2 family history books published in 2005-2006. Currently writing another 2 books. I am also an aspiring Freelance writer/travel writer.

Music, Movies, and Books
All good music, Rock, R&B, Soul, blues, Jazz (Oscar Petersen, Miles Davis etc), opera, classical, country, Pop, amd much more (I am definitely not into Hip Hop, or Rap.) I am a big fan of Queen, U2, CCR, Abba, Fleetwood Mac, Elvis, Beach Boys, Westlife, and most of the 60s music like the Beatles, Stones etc.
I am also a genealogist and family history fanatic in my spare time. I read a lot of historical books and family or local history books and dabble in photography.
Favourite TV programmes are House,Top Gear, Greys Anatomy, Boston Legal, and Sex and the City.
I can't wait to see the next SATC Movie in 2010
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing i did was in April 2000 (Easter Sunday)when i was at mission control in Houston, Texas to see the space shuttle take off on the large screens in Mission control centre at Johnson space centre.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I am already a teacher of computers and computer software, i can offer help and advice in most aspects of Microsoft Office software packages and many other software applications. My friends tell me i am a bit of a geek :-)
