It took me some years to get out of my small hometown and make it to the big city.
Living in Berlin for a few years now, I try to travel and explore as many other cities and countries as possible in my free time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually stay with friends or friends of friends when I'm traveling.
And I host my friends from all over the world or friends of friends if they want to check out the city I'm living in.
Couchsurfing for me is and extension of this and makes it possible to travel to places where you don't know anyone and make new friends.

Interests

I'm obsessed with music.
Always searching for music I haven't heard before.
Not caring that much about new music, but listening to songs from the earliest recordings ever made upto the late 1990s.
Usually more on the raw side.
Blues, Jazz, Folk, Country, Surf, Beat, Soul, Punk, R&B, Classical Music, Rap, field recordings from countries that don't exist anymore, african mutant Funk, iranian teenagers going berserk in a recording studio in the mid 60s, weird electronic music from somewhere else...

Movies too.

Not a fast reader, but always have a stack of books beside my bed.

Skateboarding for 15 years now.

Always love to draw cultural connection lines and figure out how everything is connected with each other.
