ABOUT ME

I am horrible at these. I love meeting new people, people who are different from me are so interesting, I love talking to them! I am an open person that is really laid back about life in general. I usually go with the flow. I absolutely LOVE history and traveling around. Speaking languages besides English is something I want to improve in, so that's why I'm studying abroad in Spain right now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been couchsurfing for the past week while on Spring Break, and it has been an absolutely amazing experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

They were so good, so amazing it's hard to describe. It's like experiencing the real country when you couchsurf, which is why people travel in the first place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteer at the hospital in Barcelona where I go to the patients rooms to stay with them while their parents go rest or have some food downstairs. One time I was with a 5 month old boy who began to cry violently. I wasn't very sure if I should pick him up or not so I spent 5 minutes in a limbo of trying to cheer him and halfway picking him up. Then I finally said, I will do it; so I picked him up and held him to my shoulder and immediately he stopped crying. It was the must humbling experience I've ever had, to know that human touch can mean that much
