I am an adventurous creative, always eager to meet new and interesting people. I am also an artist, music lover (music festivals are life), reader and maybe a bit of a hippie. The clean kind though!

The travel bug bit me when I was but a wee lass (I was 12) and I've been restless ever since. By restless I mean, I want to see as many beautiful and wonderful places as my wallet, time and youth allows. Travelling of course goes hand in hand with meeting amazing strangers who have the potential to change your life forver. To me, that is what life is all about.

Short answer: new friends!!

Long answer: I love learning new cultures by being complety immersed in them. I also hope to leave my hosts with a little piece of me. I am extremely outgoing and I love hearing people's life stories and sharing mine in return.

What better way to meet a beautiful stranger than sleeping on their couch ?

I danced along to the music at Redbull stage at Oppi Koppi (A South African alternative music festical). I met a beautiful stranger on the dance floor that night. Afterwards we sat next to the campfire and talked about life, love and everything in between until the sun came up.

I can hopefully help some of my non-English speaking hosts improve their English. I do speak French as well, so hopefully my translation degree would make this a bit easier to do.

I can cook. I would love to learn to cook local dishes and share some authentic South African recipes.

Good company goes a long way. So does spontaneity, open-mindedness and a kind heart.
