I grew in a real small place and eventually got lucky enough to have opportunities to take advantage of. I love the urban atmosphere but I'm still rural at heart (sorta). I studied abroad in Nagoya years ago and finally returned to Japan this past month.

I enjoy the arts, both fine and "commercial" (comics - manga, American comics, Korean webtoons - I like them all. Haven't read Chinese manhua in ages). I also enjoy basketball, and trying foods I've never tried before.

People say I'm pretty quiet, but I can be a little annoying when I talk too much (fair warning?)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in a weird spot where I really feel like I'm about to lose my job due to circumstances that are out of my control. The company I work for (which I will not name) seem empathetic/sympathetic on the surface, but I feel they could be doing more for me. If I somehow don't get fired in the next week, I may end up leaving of my own accord to build on a different path anyway.

To do that I'll need somewhere to stay, since I'm not allowed to stay in my apartment after quitting (legal binds). If you're wondering how I even allowed that to happen just dm me lol. It's a lot.
