ABOUT ME

I am a wild, artistic soul trapped in a middle class housewife's body, lol. Seriously, I love my kids, my husband, and my life, but a part of me yearns to drop it all and set off across the country with no plans or destination.
My goal is to bring some of that freedom and variety of experience to my family through meeting people from all places and walks of life, and that's what I look for in CouchSurfing.

Interests

Family and friends (both near and far) - I spend far too much time on the computer keeping in touch, but I love hearing about them and sharing in their lives.
I do a lot of art, and a lot of reading. I like to cook, I explore thrift stores and flea markerts. I homeschool my youngest, so that fills a lot of my time too. I cook, I garden.
I spend far less time doing housework than I should, but still more than I like. I don't really know what I spend my time on, somehow though there are never enough hours in the day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Holding each of my three boys when they were born, then waving goodbye to them when they first walked out the front door alone on their way to some adventure, and realizing somehow I had contributed to setting that person off on their life journey.
