ABOUT ME

I’m an avid traveler who lives to travel, but for the rest of the time, I work as an IT Consultant. I love discussing life issues, experiences, hanging out with friends and cooking! (yes i believe food is fundamental to life and travel experience to the point where I can become a bit of a food snob... but that just means, if you hang out with me, you BET we'll eat well and no 2 same meals twice!)

I recently got re-connected to my right brain, can't get enough of it! (yes yes, it was a true revelation!) That led me to put the rational brain on hold and explore the world outside of an office desk!!

I believe that there are 3 key elements that allow us to create a link to others: history, food and language! Hence stems my fascination with language!

Interests

I'm an avid swimmer, love to rollerblade (people take long walks, i do them on my blades), ice skating, rock climbing, always on the hunt for new things to do in town, discover best ethnic digs in town!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pixar movies because it makes me feel like a fuzzy kid again and most of foreign and independent movies.
My fav director, Turkish-German: Fatih Akin. His movies make me cry! but in a good way.

Music: All things latin, some reggae, hip hop, rock.
Recently fell in love with reggaeton, thanks to my recent visit to Panama :) (see my blog and you'll know why!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving off the reefs of the caribbean and seeing a nurse shark resting at the bottom of a half-open cave, with thousands of tiny fishes swimming in a spiral fashion... WAOW. I want to be a fish and live underwater! (Did I mention I like swimming?)
