ABOUT ME

We are a family of 4 people: Mona (Austrian), Olivier (French) and our 2 kids, Raphael and Coralie.
Currently, Olivier works in a research project in Austria, and is also planing some activities with organic agriculture in Sri Lanka.
We live in a very small flat with very basic infrastructure, therefore we can't host at the moment.
We particularly would like to meet French, Spanish, Hindi, Sinhalese & Tamil speakers (etc...). Also, anybody involved in organic agriculture, sustainability topics, etc. is particularly welcome to contact us! Maybe we can show you around ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Using as few resources as possible and trying to make life better on this earth, but also trying not to fall into extremism!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Bring positive vibes wherever we are invited, and are hoping to host people soon when we will have more space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly through Hospitality Club (mooliv) particularly intensively between 2006 and 2009. We enjoyed both hosting and being hosted.
Hosting: we had once 5 people in our 30m² flat, and we also had 2 people staying for about 1 month in this very same flat!
Being hosted: when we arrived in Irkutsk (lake Baikal) our host got up at 3 AM to pick us up from the train station.

Handicrafts (carpentry, wool, fiberglas...), traveling and hitch-hiking, kayaking, surfing, longboarding, didgeridoo, being in the nature, climbing trees, sustainable & organic agriculture, eating good vegetarian food, and always learning how to make ourselves the things we need for more self sustainability...
