I love learning languages. I'm fluent only in English, but am at a high-intermediate level in Tamil, French, German, and a beginner in Japanese, and I can somewhat follow Malayalam.

I enjoy the challenges and rewards of teaching ESL, and tutoring English, whether high school or college students, or adults.

I've very committed to learning about sociopolitical issues of all kinds, and especially women's rights, LGBTQ rights, decolonization, mental health, and anti-capitalist resistance. Those are big terms which get thrown around a lot, whether in activism or academia, but ultimately it comes down to analyzing who has power, who doesn't, and how to liberate those who've been ruled by others. I aim to explore these issues in my work as a playwright, journalist, and theatre creator.

I'm happy to make you Indian food (or other food stuffs, as best to my ability) to edit any kind of writing project you might have, recite poetry, contribute in other creative ways, be of help around the house, and listen and be empathetic.

Oh, and if you have dogs I've been a professional dog walker and am happy to help out with animal related needs, and though I don't have formal baby sitting experience, I love kids and can watch them for a night if you need a break :)
