Couchsurfed once so far, last minute in Philly, and it was a fabulous experience.

I witnessed my Swedish grandfather ("Farfar") donate a 5 volume set of our family history books (that he wrote) to the curator of the Immigrant Museum Library in Vaxjo, Sweden. Farfar simply & openly shared 20 years of accomplishment with the curator with a gentleness & sincerity that inspires me.
