ABOUT ME

I'm not big on internet descriptions, but I suppose I would sum myself up to be a baby adult, emerging from the cocoon of childhood with open eyes and much to learn and experience. My biggest gift and joy in life is singing and writing songs. I have recently begun studying music theory, focusing on jazz and applying it primarily to vocals, guitar, and mandolin. I also love to dance though I'm untrained in it I did gymnastics for ten years making me quite coordinated and agile. I identify with characters such as minstrels, court gestures, and Kokopelli. If I haven't done a handstand, the day is not yet complete for me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very new to the couch surfing world and have only stayed with one host by chance one time down at the beach. I love the idea and the stories I've heard and am looking forward to whatever doors may open and the community of it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Denali Alaska for five weeks earlier this year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give some instruction in yoga, more in gymnastics. I know how to prepare sushi and can work with most food. I love kids, have a lot of experience baby sitting and some with teaching things such as math, writing, music, and basketball. Mostly I have just talked to a lot of kids and enjoy interacting with them and being someone who can hold their attention and affection. I have helped work on many houses with jobs in roofing, painting, and structure and the way from digging the foundation. to building the walls. Can operate power tools and some heavy machinery.
