ABOUT ME

i live in the East Village of NYC, and i have a horse farm in upstate New York. (no horses, though, but it sure is scenic!) Had a near death experience in my late 20's and realized that the one thing i really wanted to do was to see, hear, listen to, ingest and experience the planet i'm currently inhabiting...and meet lots of interesting people!

Come stay on my couch! it's super comfy. Also you can come to Rhinebeck, NY where my country house is~if it's available! Fresh air, fireplace, hot tub, a sky full of stars..and egad! your very own bedroom!

Interests

Right now my goal is to get to Nepal this summer in order to volunteer in several orphanages. Ultimately i'd like to start my own safe house for children without parents~ in order to feed (emotionally as well as physically), educate, and hopefully train the older kids in some sort of self-sustainable trade so they can ultimately support themselves and their loved ones. Ideally i'd like to set up a program where performers, artists and musicians will come over and teach/share their particular artistry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

survived cancer/learned to ride a motorcycle/got interviewed by CNN/bathed and fed an elephant/traveled India without getting sick/forgave my parents/Burning Man/traveled solo through southeast asia/found my way back to civilization after getting stranded in Alaska/got charged by a wild elephant in heat/saw a white rhino by hot air balloon/was about 7 feet away from a lion still eating its kill/and bore witness, time and time again, to the kindness of strangers....
