HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting Tiago from Portugal was super fun. He stayed at our student house and we had many nice conversations. We had a wonderful time in Wageningen! After that a new world opened up for me, I started to couchsurf myself as well :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is such an amazing way to meet new people! For me it is a great way to learn from other people's view on the world and get into contact with people you would probably not have crossed paths with.

兴趣

I love a lot of sports: hockey, rowing, tennis, squash, football, sailing and ice skating when a cold winter arrives in the Netherlands.

I also like reading a lot! I love history, especially the history of cities. And as my study programming shows, I'm into water management, literally everything connected to water has my interest!

Travelling in a positive way, also in terms of climate impact. So bikes, trains, sails and hitchhiking a are my favorite ways to travel :) Traveling slow and meeting many people and other animals makes me happy.

音乐、电影和书籍

Into the wild is one of the most incredible films I have ever seen. Furthermore, I also like fantasy e.g. Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter and nature docs. My music taste is very wide, from the Beatles, Jazz to Coldplay. And I play the saxophone a bit :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Choosing is not my best skill.. So here two incredible experiences:

One of the most amazing thing I have done so far is cycling from Wageningen (NL) to the Black Sea, Romania together with two friends. The freedom, people we met, physical challenges and beautiful nature made it a trip never to forget.

Another unforgettable experience: Sailing on an old tall ship across the Atlantic Ocean, with an incredible group of youngsters, super grateful I could make this dream a reality!

I'd like to discuss global issues like food security and water safety, or how we should take care of our precious earth, but also love to enjoy tiny things in life together and share them with others. Such as noodles for breakfast, small treasure hunts or the last sun beams of the day:)
The most important thing I learned in life: be grateful. And I'd love to learn a lot of fun, strange, new skills from you :)

I also like to play sports with my host/surfers (tennis, footbal, tabel tennis, swimming, whatever). And when needed, I can teach basic bike fixing skills. I am also up to share beers or good food with hosts/surfers!
