ABOUT ME

I've been a student most of my life and finally got to the end of the road with a PhD student at the University of California, Davis in mechanical and aerospace engineering. I studied mostly bicycle and human powered technology (http://biosport.ucdavis.edu).

I've hosted tons of folks at the squat I lived in the Netherlands and in Davis, California. I use the couchsurf website to organize events and meetings. I couch surf when I am out and about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i was sitting at a traffic light in Philadelphia in my dad's car staring out the window. i was 9. i witnessed a man being beat and robbed at the corner. it seemed like a tv show from inside my car bubble. people walked by the incident like nothing was happening. we left when the light turned green.
