ABOUT ME

I have just recently completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at Lakehead University in my small hometown of Thunder Bay, ON, Canada. When I'm in school I spend the majority of my time indoors studying. This isn't as bad as it sounds as the winters in Thunder Bay are extremely frigid: the temperature sometimes dips below -40C.

During the spring and summer I live my double life as a wildfire ranger. I say double life because what I do during this time is very different from what I do during the school year: I work almost exclusively outdoors, my job is physically demanding, and I have the pleasure of frequently traveling. This job makes for lots of adventures and lots of stories, which I enjoy sharing with others.

In Late 2010-Early 2011 I went Kerouac and backpacked the majority of Europe. I met tons of fantastic people and looking back it was one of the best experiences of my life.
