ABOUT ME

I am a person who loves connecting with others and sharing experiences. I work with children with Autism which can be both incredibly rewarding and intensely challenging, and I enjoy engaging in creative and artistic pursuits in my down time. I am currently trying to increase my compentency with knitting, and I attend circus classes (aerial silk)for some unconventional and very fun physical activity. I am looking forward to finishing my university degree in April and being able to devote more of my time to traveling and expanding. I like to thrash, read, eat grapefruits, and ride my bike. I also like rooftops, swings, and basements.

creating symbiotic connections with other human beings and building a sense of community in the global sense. I think its a general disposition, the choices that you make, day to day, and the way you interact with the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed much, as I've been chained to my university for the past 4 years, but I've met many wonderful people from the couchsurfing community and thoroughly enjoy hosting when I can.

I collect records -- My favourite genres fall along the lines of proto-punk, punk (70's-80's), post-punk, 50's rock, surf-rock, garage rock, folk, jazz, and many blends of the above.Favourite artists include buddy holly, the velvet underground, warsaw, the sonics, the kills and many more. music and books are eclectic and diverse.
