Me, my boyfriend Shai and Dugri (our dog) live in the special neighborhood Nachlaot, right in the center of Jerusalem. We are both PhD students, I study computational neuroscience and Shai studies math. So yes, we are nerds who love to know :). We love what we do for living, but besides we also love travelling, being in the outdoors, reading, cooking. Shai is also into music (he plays several instruments, where his big two lovers are the French horn and the bass and he would always be happy for a good jam session) and art. And I'm mostly into talking :).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We LOVE traveling, backpacking style. When travelling, we always seek for alternative experiences, not the ones tailored for tourists. This basically means meeting the local people and get to know the place through their eyes. So, we guess that explains why we are on couchsurfing :)
Both of us had previous individual experiences both as surfers and hosts and we found couchsurfing to be a great tool both for authentic traveling (as surfers) and for breaking off the routine (as hosts). So, we would like to keep doing that, but now as a couple :)
