ABOUT ME

Well I am a graduate student at the University of Houston. On my breaks from academia I enjoy traveling as much as possible and enjoying my freedom.

Aside from the monotonous norm that we are subjected to partake in, if you want to be a regular part of society. My other activities involve sneaking up on zombies, stealing candy from babies and defacing McDonald signs in 4 mile radius of me. :-)

I have quite a few responsibilities, from both work and school but for some reason I find my self with a lot of down time. These are the moments I take to myself to plan future excursions and how to defend myself from ninja assassin attacks on the go...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well ever since I found out about CS I have been promoting to fellow travelers whenever I get the chance. I think it is a great opportunity to raise the ranks of the CS community and hopefully I will have more future surfers after they hear about my experiences.

Interests

When I'm home I like checking out different festivals, concerts, museums, bars and enjoying movies. And whenever I get the opportunity to get longer leaves I usually band up with group of friends and hit the beach or the myriad rivers in Texas.
I enjoy working out usually on a daily basis because I think staying in shape is important, not only that but I enjoy the different things that I can experience even better when in shape, such as biking, swimming and going for scenic jogs not to mention the copious amounts of drinks I can guzzle before......well you know how this story ends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a slave to music, I love to listen to music in all aspects of my life, may it be work or play. Music is something that always surrounds us. I listen to different types of music dependent on my mood so I do enjoy a huge variety of it. In terms of Movies, I am a huge movie buff, and love watching a large variety of movies as well. One of my all time favorite books is Gods of America by Neil Gayman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most beautiful things I have done that come to the top of my mind is the bio-illuminestense kayaking tour in Puerto Rico, where at night the water glows when you touch it. To paint a visual picture, this was something from Avatar.
