Hapless American Traveler

ABOUT ME

I am a hapless American working in the world of public health. In August, 2013, I will be traveling around Uganda (Kampala, Jinja), Rwanda (Kigali), and Italy (Florence).

By way of introduction, I am a traveler at heart. I spent last year teaching English in Myjava, Slovakia, and have grown to love the CS community. I have spent time in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Rabat, Casablanca, Berlin, Prague, Zagreb and Zadar, and still feel as though I have only scratched the surface.

I am super-excited about Couch Surfing. While my experience has been rather limited, never before have I seen such wonderful and open and exciting people. I am thrilled to become a part of this growing global community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My previous couchsurfing experience was *wonderful.* I spent five days with my (now) good friend Philip in Amsterdam while studying there in January 2011. Due to such a positive experience, I am willing to embrace all that couchsurfing has to offer moving forward!
