ABOUT ME

The basics: I love music, especially when it is live. I like to dance and laugh (especially if you have a sarcastic streak). I like to read (I love literature but I am always down to learn something new from a piece of well written non-fiction). I am willing to try a lot of things once. I love traveling and experiencing culture and the way people live in a new place.

I have had all different kinds of travel experiences, even lived abroad (Mexico for a year and Tunisia and Spain for shorter periods) but hands down my favorite experiences have always been the best when I have friends from the place show me around and take me into the homes. It was my friends that made trips to Madrid, Istanbul, and Hong Kong.

Books (too many to list-you should just come over and see my overly crowded book shelf); movies (whatever Netflix is streaming, usually something in French or Spanish or really campy American flick), shows (I'm a Gleek=I like Glee); music (hip hop, jazz, latin pop); food (Mexican and Indian are my favorites).
