I am a 23 year old old-soul, seeking meaningful connection and trying to amplify joy in the world. I have heard my call to work in the maternal and infant health field and am working my way towards certification as a birth and postpartum doula (and maybe one day a midwife too!). I love reading, spending time in nature, hiking with my golden retriever Peaches, and I believe the best medicine is dancing and laughter. I do multiple forms of partner dance (contra, lindy, west coast swing, bachata, blues) and would love to learn more. Despite all of this, I am an introvert at heart who enjoys good company and sharing yummy food or a lovely cup of tea.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am serving as a birth doula in Tanzania for a few weeks in January and am taking some time afterwards to travel around East Africa and Europe! I am trying to do this on a tight budget, while prioritizing making meaningful relationships and having life-giving conversations with strangers and soon-to-be friends.

I had the opportunity to swim with whale sharks off of Isla Mujeres, an island off of Cancun, Mexico! There were dozens of them bigger than school busses! Amazing.

I am interested in maternal, infant, and child health. I am passionate about pregnancy, women's health, reproductive rights, the environment, animals, and mental health. I studied some psychology in college and am always learning more about the brain. I also would love to be fluent in Spanish one day.
