Currently spending five months in Utah building houses! Previously traveled in the Northwest for a summer and before that worked as a youth outdoor program coordinator. I also spent some time in the US Conservation Corps building trails in Arizona. I do a lot of outdoor and manual labor seasonal work and I love it! Goals include living in community, doing more direct action community organizing, and eventually landing a gig as a wilderness ranger or instructor for a young adult outdoor program.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need a place to stay while on my travels! :) I also want to repay the favor and host folks when I'm settled back down in my own place.

Interests

Interested in learning all I can about: place-based "eco-building" construction, medicinal herbs and basic medical knowledge for urban and wildneress settings, permaculture farming and seed saving, non-violent communication and community conflict resolution.
