I am a fun and easy going person. I have lived all over Asia for the past 6 years and ready to make the move to Europe. I arrive in Greece on June 28th. I started as a high school history teacher at an international school in Shanghai. I had a desire to learn more about the global education crisis and how we can work together to reach a sustainable solution. As a result of my interest, I obtained my Master’s degree in Global Studies in Education. Teaching had always been a way for me to give back, however my compassion for all and drive for equitable education for all led me to create the Life Lessons Foundation. I have lived in Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam working with various NOGs developing their programs and training teachers. Originally from California I have a strong love for the beach and nature. I love meeting new people and sharing cultural experiences. I believe that you are never lost in life, just always on an adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning about new cultures and meeting new people. I get along with almost anyone. Having living abroad for so many years I want to get to know the local culture and not just the things you read in guide books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't call it amazing but, rather life changing. I lived in a refugee camp on the Thai-Burma boarder and taught Human Rights to Burmese refugees. It was the most rewarding thing I have ever done by far.
