After years of yearning to travel, I now find myself living and working in Japan (no, not through JET). My wanderlust has not yet been satisfied, therefore, I still seek to encounter new lands, people, and adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I consider myself to be a pretty open-minded individual I can be pretty skeptical and overly cautious at times. Because of this it might take me a while to open up to the idea of actually crashing on someone couch. Also, my current living situation prevents me from hosting. Hopefully, that'll change soon so I can I really take part in the CS experience. I am however very enthusiastic about meeting up with locals and/or fellow travelers to grab a drink, roam around or just hangout!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before my introduction to this site I had a couchsurfing like experience in Baltimore. A couple that knew a friend of mine opened up their place for the night after I received an awesome tour of the city. The only drawback was that I had to battle with their bulldog for rights to the couch. All in all it was a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

The only two movies I need in my life are The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Forrest Gump. Masterpieces.
And if I were stuck on a desert island, I would have to take The God of Small Things and The Great Gatsby to read.
As for music, I'm into anything it really depends on my mood. Although I have little tolerance for electro, house, dub step and/or any of its derivative forms.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the fjords of western Norway. Quite impressive!
