About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bike along the Mediterranean Coast this summer

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, moved to Montreal to do my degree and fell in love with 'the city.' I am currently living in Spain teaching english, and learning a lot from this society in terms of myself and the society from which I come.I recognize that we as human beings are never complete. I seek to gain new experiences and grow from my surroundings whenever possible. Strength is key!

PHILOSOPHY

Knowledge can be found in even the darkest corners of the globe. And this, my friend, is a beautiful truth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to CouchSurfing through a very good friend of mine who is a regular host in London. Together we travelled through Basque Country and to Barcelona staying only with CouchSurfing hosts and I have never had a better travelling experience. I plan to travel much more through CS and as well am open to hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently been welcomed into several homes, shown hospitality that I could never have imagined, and met wonderful people.

Interests

Interesting things and people. Reading and learning. Life and love and laughter!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Chocolat, Vicky Christina Barcelona, Amelie, All Almodovar Films, 500 days of Summer...I love all those 'not too hard, but beautiful' movies.
Music: Great question...but a better one would be, 'what dont I like?'. To make a small dent in this answer (to the former question), I really like Jam bands..
Books: Books that make you think about them after you've put them down. My favourite authors include: Milan Kundera, John Steinbeck, Ann-Marie MacDonald, Barbara Kingsolver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced diversity and peaceful co-existence!

Teach, Learn, Share

This is a hard question. What I have to teach is rational thinking and what I have to learn (and want to learn) is essentially infinite.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Slovenia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Spain
