About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people-make connections-learn stuff

ABOUT ME
We're professional musicians in the band Humbletown. We have a 2 and 4 year old and tour the country with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting surfers! I can hardly ever wait for my next surfers. I will host people or just go meet and show you around. Also I am a surfer of world couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a wonderful experience so far both hosting and surfing. Everyone has something to contribute to the world and to learning in general. This is a wonderful site-it makes traveling an entirely new and amazing thing.

Interests

Bicycles, art, music (I sort of collect instruments), world travel, writing, adventures, climbing, clawhammer banjo

Music, Movies, and Books

Age of Reason, Wanting Seed, Doctor is Sick...I actually can't list books really. I worked at a bookstore though. I don't much like movies but I do like old black and white films, Charlie Chaplin films, Citizen Kane, Rebecca. Music is something I'm entirely open to, I like lots of different kinds, folk, punk, funk, jazz, country, blues

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed at an amazing commune called Punta Mona in Costa Rica, watched Sea Turtles, swimming in the Caribbean, living in a cave in Spain, volunteering in India, just traveling in general.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play and teach banjo, I'd love to learn anything people are willing to teach. I'm a pretty good community organizer and can assist with these types of things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean, and play you music. I can tell stories (I've got a lot of great ones) and engage in philosophical/social/environmental discussion, or just have fun and chat.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
