About Me

I’m a 31-year-old solo female French backpacker, and I've been traveling around Australia for more than 3 years now.

I left France in October 2019 to discover Australia (it's been my dream forever) for a year initially and here I am, still here after 3 years :)

I intend to keep on traveling afterwards as I would like to explore NZ, Asia & south America.
So far I've been in Western Australia, Victoria, QLD, ACT, Tasmania and NSW.

I discovered the Couchsurfing concept during my first "big" journey in 2016 in the USA, and I loved it, met some lovely people.

I like to meet locals and discover different ways of living and new cultures.
I like to chat and to do some outdoors activities, and I love music, food, animals and sports.

Back home I was working in tourism (hotel and aviation), and during those last 3 year in Australia I've been working in hospitality mainly, but also in farms, a factory, housekeeping and healthcare.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people and sharing experiences

I signed in when I was traveling in the USA in 2016 because I wanted to meet locals, and I enjoyed all my couch surfing experiences.
I met a lot of really nice people and learned a lot from them. It was an interesting and enriching experience :)

I like to stay with locals because it's so much more interesting than staying in a hotel or airbnb! I can get some advice, a few tips and learn about the country or city from the inside and that's much better than reading a guide ! Moreover, when you're traveling alone it's so much better to have someone to stay with, to speak to, to share a meal with or to hang out with :)
