ABOUT ME

Hi all!
I'm a french woman, working in the cultural public sector in Paris, but originary from the french mediterranean coast.
I went into cultural studies because I've always been keen on discovering other cultures, and especially when travelling.

This is not "all about me" as you'll learn more below!

PHILOSOPHY

Big appeal for a 300% life. I'm always looking forward thrilling moments... (no I'm not a fan of cold weather, all the more being originary from Mediterranean coast!)
I don't know if i have a "philosophy" but i'm searching for a real harmony with the world that surrounds me; this enjoying and being moved by little things in life that can make it happier, you know, Matisse had said "Il y a des fleurs partout pour qui veut bien les voir", so I'm trying not to miss these discrete flowers on the side of my road!

I'm one of these passionate people because of my extrasensitivity and my strong curiosity for everything.
Among my passions are:
> Arts : especially music and photography which I practice taking loads of pictures of everything - and anything - and playing my guitar...
> Nature : love animals, very contemplative person, keen on wide-open spaces I love doing hikes in mountains during summer
> Life ; share intense life experiences with other people, meet my friends in bars and talk around a (or more!) drink!

Music, Movies, and Books

Thats always hard (not to say impossible) to select few elements here. I'm much into music and litterature (but enjoy watching movies from time to time!): in music I have a strong inclination for rock and folk (in fact everything where guitars play a big role!) but can listen to many different songs such as world music, ambient, pop, trip hop...
In litterature as a french girl i don't know many foreign books, and would mention overall french names; in particular Albert Camus, Marcel Proust, Emil Cioran, Baudelaire, Marcel Pagnol, Jean Giono... but among foreign authors i enjoyed reading Thoreau (as a nature-lover), James Joyce, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Kerouac (of course because of On the Road), Octavio Paz, Steinbeck... i could go on for ages like that!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn you something? well, I can learn you some guitar playing if you want to! but i'm not a "guitar hero", see what I mean? :)
And if you're already a guitar player and you have a guitar left for me, we'll have fun playing together!
I'm also a photography geek, able to share tips and visions on this art.
I'll be pleased to share all my passions anyway.

We can also do some french cooking together, in particular southern france specialities as I'm a southern girl ;)
