I am here in Lyon on a Fulbright grant where I am a masters student at Lyon 1 and a researcher at a national lab for environmental science research. I joined couch surfing during my travels abroad and would love to return the favor to others who are passing by. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Musique - I listen to everything except country and heavy metal. My seasonal playlist tends to be filled with Maitre Gims, Vendredi sur Mer, Taylor Swift, The Lumineers, etc.

Films - not a huge film person, I prefer tv shows. I LOVE Rick and Morty, Wentworth, Parks and Rec, and The Office. But I will watch anything (for the most part).

Books - contemporary poetry (nikita gill, atticus, rupi kaur), contemporary french fiction, anything french I can get my hands on, really!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just got back from a week long trip that involved 6 cities and 3 countries! We slept on buses, outside of airports, and in hostels, averaging 5-6 hours of sleep each night and walking at least 15km each day. But I did fall in love with Belgium....so it was worth it.
